What is the difference between wedge anchors and sleeve anchors?

They are both anchors used for the concrete. The difference is as below.
Sleeve anchors rely on the tightening torque to make the anchor to expand and hold in the concrete. The pipe runs nearly the full embedded depth in the concrete. The bolt increases in diameter towards the bottom of the hole slowly.

Wedge anchors typically have a clip which is pushed outwards by a bolt which is larger in diameter towards the bottom of the hole. Wedge anchors are usually more expensive, and provide higher working loads.

As a factory, we have our exclusive raw material suppliers, we have our own plants for production, surface treatment, assembling and packaging, We also have our own international sales teams. And we have five plants, they are divided separately, based on different markets or products. The first one is for domestic market, the second one mainly produces wedge anchor and drop in anchor for worldwide market , the third one is for Korea and Southeast Asia market(like Thailand,Vietnam,Myanmar, Sri Lanka).The fourth one is producing sleeve anchors what we export to Russia ,Ukraine and so on. The fifth one is our zinc plating plant.Besides, we have more than 20 branches to do assembly and packing.
The total area of our plants is about15000 square meters, we have 60 staffs.Regarding to the machines, we have 5 heavy punching machines,15 cold forging machines,18 thread rolling machines,4 hex nut machines and 10 drilling machines. In the zinc plating plant ,there are two full automatic galvanizing lines to do the surface treatment .We could do white zinc, yellow zinc,Dacro and HDG. The Annual capacity is about 12000tons and the annual selling value is about USD15,000,000. We also prepared sample room and quality test room. The goods will be tested for every despatch. We measure the diameter and the length,we also check the thread,tensile yield strength and so on. And we will keep some goods as samples forever.Each bunch samples will be kept separately marked with producing time, exporting time, customer's information,SC No.
Normally,there are about 1000 tons of raw materials in our warehouse. And the raw material , semi-products and finished products are displayed separately and orderly. It will help more efficient production and fast delivery. Every day, there are many goods in and out from our warehouse , and our warehouse keeper will record details to do the further check and inspection, e.g. from where the raw material comes, to which batch the goods belong , and to where the goods will be shipped. Then when it comes to any problem or dispute of the orders or delivery in the future, we could figure out the source rapidly and serve the customers better. Moreover, there are many common sizes available in warehouse ,then we could ship them at once after order confirmation

What is your normal package for the fasteners?

For our wedge anchor,sleeve anchor,drop in anchor ,all types of anchors are packed with white box + brown carton + plywood pallet . But we also could follow your requirement. We can make color box + color carton + color label+ wooden pallet.
Regards the nut,bolt,washer,we could packed with bag or box carton, depends on our customers requirement.

What does a wedge anchor include?

Wedge anchor is widely used in the construction field to fix in the concrete,steel structure,railings,curtain wall,doors,windows etc. it is also called through bolt, wedge anchor bolt. You will see that it has 4 parts assembling , the body bolt, clip, flat washer DIN 125 and hex nut DIN 934 .

BOLT PART
The major part of wedge anchor is bolt. There are many sizes that we could produce, from M6 to M24, length from 50 millimeter to 300 millimeter. More than sixty common sizes are available with storage in warehouse all the year round. For example M8*60, 100, 120; M10*70, 80, 100; M12*100, 120, 140; M20*100, 150, 160 and so on. We could also print your logo on the bolt,it could be letters or simple design,for example, it could be ABCD,square,triangle and and so on. The length is from the heard to the bottom, let’s measure again,okay,it is 120.17mm,and it is also in tolerance and acceptable.Regarding to the thread,we could make the thread with different length according to the customer’s requirement.Look at the samples here,you could know more clear. This one thread is longer and this one is a little shorter, they are different. Now, please see this blue line, we could mark it as your required depth,upper or lower, just tell me the position where to mark it.
Another point, please see the end of the bolt, there is no thread here, this part without thread is to protect the thread from damage when you hit the bolt with hammer.

Clip
Please look at the clip,the diameter is marked on the clip normally, see,M10 M12 M16 showed on it, it is easy to recognize the size for worker.
There are two different material clips for different customer’s request, one is carbon steel, the other is stainless .There is one kind of special black clip assembled with stainless bolt, this item is acceptable in some European countries. Here is the wedge anchor with double clips, normally Israeli market needs it.

The third part hex nut,
Qualified hex nut should be assembled smoothly、no loose and pause until thread ending. How it happen? Because we use DIN 934 hex nut and our bolt thread is also qualified,we have our own thread rolling machines and regularly change our thread rolling board.

The fourth part washer ,
The flat washer assembled on wedge anchor is DIN 125. Normally, there is one DIN 125 flat washer . But some customers ask for double flat washers, some customers want one big flat washer,and some customers need one spring washer and one big washer.

What surface treatment could you do please?

The first sight on anchors, we could see its colour, Common color is yellow and blue white. The zinc plating will prevent goods from rusting under the damp or slightly acid environment.
Some customers need galvanized zinc,(it is also called cold coating). The surface for galvanized zinc products should be smooth and bright. Some other customers ask for HDG.Please pay attention to that the surface of HDG goods is not smooth, but the HDG is better in corrosion resistance.
